In partnership with Scène 1425, the SiriusXM Canada summer tour will kick off in Gatineau on August 22, 2012.The tour will support independent Quebec musicians and will stop in Gatineau, Chicoutimi, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Rouyn-Noranda and Laval. Renowned artists including Malajube, Galaxie, Pierre Lapointe et ses musiciens, Loco Locass, Louis-Jean Cormier, Koriass, Loud, Lary, and Ajust are set to perform with special guest K'NAAN joining the final stop of the tour in Laval. Admission is $10.To support the world's future musicians, SiriusXM Canada will donate all proceeds of ticket sales from the tour toYoung Musicians of the World, a Quebec-based non-profit that works to organize and operate tuition-free music schools both in Quebec and abroad.
