The Green Data Center Innovation Challenge was sponsored by the IDA to help improve energy efficiency in the Singapore data center sector. This project is anticipated to result in more than US$700,000 per year in energy savings and will be fully functional by December. The project also includes the first implementation of the Singapore government's new SS564 Green Data Center Standard's cooling and power distribution energy efficiency metrics with continuous real-time monitoring on a SynapSense dashboard to baseline the data centers energy use; air flow management metrics; and cooling and power system's efficiency before and after the implementation of the energy efficiency measures.
