McCollam, recently retired Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer for Williams-Sonoma, Inc., has been elected to serve on the company's board of directors. With her election, the OfficeMax board now has nine members."We are pleased to welcome Sharon to the OfficeMax board of directors," said Rakesh Gangwal, Chairman of OfficeMax.  "Sharon is an insightful leader with a solid track record in finance and operations. Her experiences and perspective will be a valuable addition to our board."Ms. McCollam, 50, spent 12 years with Williams-Sonoma, a multi-channel specialty retailer of high-quality products for the home, holding a variety of senior financial and operations management roles within the company. Prior to that, Ms. McCollam was Chief Financial Officer of Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dole Food Co. Inc., a producer, marketer and distributor of fresh fruit and vegetables, from 1996 to 2000; and Vice President and Controller from 1993 to 1996.  Ms. McCollam has served as a director of Sutter Health, a network of doctors and hospitals in Northern California, since January 2012; and was named a director of privately held Art.com Inc., the world's largest online specialty retailer of high-quality wall art, in July 2012. Ms. McCollam served as a director of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. from 2010 to 2012; and Del Monte Food Company, a producer, distributor and marketer of food products, from 2007 to 2011.
