CSC Wins $74 Million IT and Information Management Task Order09:00 EDT Thursday, August 16, 2012 FALLS CHURCH, Va. (Business Wire) -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) has awarded the company a task order to provide information management support. Awarded as part of the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions Services (ITES-2S) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract in the first quarter of CSC's fiscal year 2013, the task order has a one-year base period and two one-year options for a total value of $74 million. Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will continue its long-term relationship in support of USSOUTHCOM's Theater Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Support Center to plan, engineer, install, operate, sustain and protect all information technology (IT) and management requirements. “CSC's history of supporting U.S. Southern Command, coupled with our extensive global presence, uniquely positions us to deliver greater efficiencies to U.S. Southern Command throughout its area of responsibility,” said Alan B.
