P&G GIVE Education and CIS "School The Nation" with Matthew McConaughey15:32 EDT Thursday, August 16, 2012 CINCINNATI (Business Wire) -- On August 15, 2012, Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG) launched its second annual GIVE Education campaign – led by Matthew McConaughey to ignite discussion around America's dropout crisis and raise funds for Communities In Schools (CIS), the nation's leading dropout prevention organization. GIVE Education teamed up with McConaughey's just keep livin foundation to kick off the press conference at Venice High School where he highlighted the importance of mentorship and encouraged consumers to get, give and save with a P&G rebate (www.getgivesave.com) that gives back to CIS. In support of this effort, McConaughey led some inspiring Venice High School students through an exercise drill to demonstrate the impact of an active, healthy lifestyle and a trusted mentor when it comes to keeping kids in school.
