VOORHEES, N.J. (Business Wire) -- New Jersey American stretched a one thousand foot, 42 inch diameter,
high density polyethylene pipe across it's Swimming River Reservoir on
Thursday. Fitted with concrete collars every several feet, the main was
filled with water, sinking it to the reservoir bottom. The new main will
provide raw water from a pump station directly to the company's Swimming
River Water Treatment Plant.
