Wells Fargo, Mayor Johnson, and NeighborWorks to announce NeighborhoodLIFTSM Program – a Historic Initiative Designed to Boost Homeownership in Sacramento

WHO:

 

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, Wells Fargo Regional President David Galasso, and NeighborWorks Sacramento CEO Pam Canada.

 

WHAT:

To announce $7 million in grants and program funds for homebuyers in the city of Sacramento through the NeighborhoodLIFTSM program – an initiative designed to help people achieve sustainable homeownership.

 

NeighborhoodLIFTSM will include a two-day event on Nov. 16 and 17 at the Sacramento Convention Center where prospective homebuyers may qualify for $15,000 in down payment assistance and/or home and renovation financing grants.

 
In addition, prospective home buyers will be able to take advantage of home buyer education sessions and tours of selected residential properties that are available for sale in the city.
 

NeighborhoodLIFTSM is a collaborative program of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Wells Fargo Foundation, and NeighborWorks America, an independent nonprofit organization.

 

NeighborhoodLIFTSM is the first of its kind in the financial services industry and media is invited to cover the historic initiative.
