NORWALK, Conn. (Business Wire) -- GE
Capital, Corporate Finance today announced it is administrative
agent on a $105 million cash flow credit facility to Columbus
Manufacturing, Inc., a producer of premium-branded specialty Italian
cured meats. The financing is being used to support the acquisition of
Columbus Manufacturing by Arbor Investments. GE Capital Markets served
as lead arranger and bookrunner.
Founded in 1917 by Italian immigrants and headquartered in Hayward, CA,
Columbus Manufacturing operates three manufacturing facilities in the
San Francisco area and produces products such as finocchiona, genoa and
calabrese salame sold across North America. Headquartered in Chicago,
IL, Arbor Investments is a specialized private-equity firm that focuses
exclusively on acquiring companies in the food and beverage industry.
