The event recognizes the professional and personal achievements of École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) alumni.Mr. Roy Porretta has been working in telecommunications for more than 17 years. After joining Videotron, he was involved in a number of major projects. First, he worked on tech development for the roll-out of Videotron's Internet service for residential and business customers. A few years later, he headed the team that established the foundations of Videotron's current IP network architecture, which has supported the development of a series of IP-based services. "I am particularly moved by this recognition by my peers," said Mr. Roy Porretta after learning of the honour. "My years of study at ÉTS gave me a solid grounding that has served me well throughout my career."
