COMAC and Bombardier Announce Successful Completion of Phase I of Definitive Agreement and Official Launch of Phase II01:00 EST Tuesday, November 13, 2012ZHUHAI, CHINA--(Marketwire - Nov. 13, 2012) - Further to the definitive agreement signed on March 21, 2012, covering program commonalities between the C919 and CSeries aircraft, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC) and Bombardier Inc. wish to announce the successful completion of the Phase I of the agreement, and the launch of the second phase.As part of the first phase of COMAC and Bombardier's long-term collaboration, the two aircraft manufacturers have achieved mutually beneficial outcomes in terms of product development and customer operating cost efficiencies for the C919 and the CSeries families of commercial airliners with regard to: 1) the cockpit human-machine (crew) interfaces, 2) the electrical system, 3) the development of aluminum-lithium standards and specifications, and 4) technical publications.
