City of Adelanto Selects FATHOM(TM) for End-to-End Services Contract17:00 EST Monday, November 19, 2012PHOENIX, AZ, Nov. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - GWR Global Water Resources Corp. ("Global Water") today announced that the City of Adelanto, California (the "City"), has approved the selection of Global Water's FATHOMTM platform to provide the City with a fully integrated, end-to-end Customer Information System, including utility billing and customer care, Advanced Metering Infrastructure System and Asset Management System.  The contract also includes the geospatial FATHOMTM Revenue Assurance Audit, designed to identify potential sources of missing revenue within the existing billing system.  The entire offering will be financed through the use of tax-exempt lease purchase finance which allows the City to immediately realize on reduced operating costs for the provision of these essential services."Selecting FATHOMTM was a big decision for us," Mrs. Onyx Jones, the City's Interim Finance Director confirmed.  "It is clear that, as a utility, Global Water understands the increasing demands and expectations of our customers.  FATHOMTM will allow us to provide our customers with the tools and the level of service that our customers are demanding.  At the same time, FATHOMTM allows us to optimize our operations, minimize increases to our current costs and potentially increase our revenues."FATHOMTM will service approximately 7,419 connections in the City of Adelanto.
