Time Warner Cable Names Kevin Leddy Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy16:00 EST Monday, December 17, 2012 NEW YORK (Business Wire) -- Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) announced today that Kevin J. Leddy has been named Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy. He reports to Peter Stern, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy, People and Corporate Development Officer. Most recently Time Warner Cable's EVP, Technology Policy and Product Management, Mr. Leddy will retain responsibility for the company's technology policy and strategy and assume additional responsibility for enterprise-wide business strategy. “Time Warner Cable's strategy relies on matching technology with our customers' needs so we can give customers control in ways that are simple and easy. Kevin is an experienced, accomplished and acknowledged leader in technology, marketing, product management and strategy. He is the ideal person to lead overall strategy for Time Warner Cable,” Mr. Stern said in making the announcement. As he assumes additional accountability for business strategy, I look forward to continuing working with him as he helps navigate the company through the strategic opportunities and challenges of the communications marketplace.” Mr. Leddy joined the company (then Warner Amex Cable) in 1980 and held various positions before becoming chief marketing officer in 1990. In 1999, he moved into product management and strategic planning. Before joining Time Warner Cable, he worked at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA).
