High Liner Foods Appoints New Independent Director10:01 EST Tuesday, December 18, 2012LUNENBURG, NS, Dec. 18, 2012 /CNW/ - High Liner Foods Incorporated (TSX: HLF) ("the Company"), the leading North American value-added frozen seafood company, announced today the addition of Shelly Jamieson to the Company's Board of Directors.Ms. Jamieson brings extensive management experience, both industry and government, to High Liner's Board, including four years as Ontario's Secretary of Cabinet, Head of the Ontario Public Service and Clerk of the Executive Council, and two years as Ontario's Deputy Minister of Transportation. Prior to working for the Province of Ontario, Ms. Jamieson served as President of Extendicare (Canada) Inc.
