From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. brave Chillers will plunge into the cold waters of the Ottawa River at Britannia Beach to help raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer.  Proceeds raised from the event by the Sears Canada Charitable Foundation will be evenly allocated between patient support at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), which includes programs and research in the hospital's Oncology Department, and national pediatric oncology research initiatives, such as the Sears Childhood Cancer Fellowship."It is so great to have our friends from Sears putting on events like the Sears Great Canadian Chill.
