Landstar Successfully Concludes Litigation With OOIDA07:50 EST Thursday, January 03, 2013JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- (NASDAQ-LSTR) Landstar System, Inc., a non-asset based provider of integrated supply chain solutions delivering safe, specialized transportation and logistics services, today announced the end of its decade-long litigation with the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, Inc. ("OOIDA"). At issue in the case was Landstar's compliance with federal regulations that govern the leasing relationship between motor carriers and truck owner-operators.  "Landstar is very pleased with the conclusion of this lawsuit," according to Michael Kneller, Landstar Vice President and General Counsel.
