Sears Canada Announces Strategic Alliance for its Installed Home Improvements Business14:23 EST Tuesday, January 08, 2013SHS Services Management Inc. to operate Sears Installed Home ImprovementsTORONTO, Jan. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Sears Canada Inc. (TSX: SCC) announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with SHS Services Management Inc., an Installation Services Org. company, whereby SHS will operate the Sears installed home improvements business.  The business will continue to operate under the Sears Home Services brand name.  Management of the operation by SHS is expected to take effect on March 2, 2013.Sears installed home improvements include HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) products, windows, doors, roofing, home décor, gas fireplaces, carpet and duct cleaning, and more.  The operation includes 82 retail locations and 8 hubs.
