Carnegie Learning Integrated Math I: A Common Core Program offers a unique blend of textbook and Cognitive Tutor® software that delivers highly personalized instruction for students of varied skill levels written specifically to meet the requirements of the Common Core State Standards. To support instructors in the transition to the Common Core, Carnegie Learning Professional Development services prepare teachers for classroom instruction that deepens student content knowledge, promotes problem-solving, and encourages students to reflect on their thinking and consolidate new mathematical ideas.

Utah is one of 45 states and the District of Columbia embracing Common Core State Standards with the goal to prepare all students for college and careers in the 21st century. In addition to this grade 9 integrated math program, the Carnegie Learning Middle School Math Series was reviewed in the 2011 process and approved through December 31, 2015.

Nearly a dozen Utah school districts are reviewing Carnegie Learning Common Core-aligned Integrated Math I materials for implementation in the 2013-2014 school year. Davis School District, a bellwether district in the state, is among the first to purchase Carnegie Learning Integrated Math I, adopting the program for 10 years through the 2023-24 academic year.

Davis School District also adopted Carnegie Learning's Common Core Middle School Math Series: Courses 2 and 3 for seventh and eighth graders in 2012. Carnegie Learning is supporting Davis teachers and administrators with initial training workshops and job-embedded classroom support.

Based on more than 20 years of research and third-party evaluations, Carnegie Learning curricula and professional development support for teachers are currently adopted in fifteen of twenty curricula adoption states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia.
