Werner Enterprises Named 2013 NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year

OMAHA, Neb. (Business Wire) -- Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics provider, has been named the 2013 NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year for the National Truckload category. The prestigious award, sponsored by NASSTRAC and Logistics Management magazine, recognizes carriers that demonstrate excellence in performance and results. Werner Enterprises was specifically recognized for its exceptional customer service, outstanding business relationships, competitive pricing, operational excellence and proven leadership in technology. Werner was previously named the NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year for the National Truckload category in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Werner received the NASSTRAC Ovation Award.

Werner Enterprises will accept the award on Tuesday, April 23, at the NASSTRAC Shippers Conference & Transportation Expo in Orlando, Fla. NASSTRAC, also known as the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council, is a trade association that has provided education, advocacy, connections and solutions to shippers and carriers since 1952.
