QlikTech Partner Ecosystem Continues to Fuel Company Growth

08:00 EDT Monday, April 08, 2013

NASSAU, Bahamas (Business Wire) -- QlikTech, (NASDAQ: QLIK) a leader in Business Discovery – user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced record turnout of nearly 1,000 partner attendees at Qonnections 2013, the company's annual Global Partner Summit. Through continued focus on its partner ecosystem, QlikTech has expanded its Qonnect Partner Program to more than 1,500 partners in 100 countries, and in 2012 derived 54 percent of software license and first-year maintenance billings through partners.

In 2012, QlikTech continued to increase its focus on the Qonnect Partner Program by harnessing the innovation of its partners in the new breed of BI, known as Business Discovery, or self-service BI. In September 2012, QlikTech launched QlikMarket, a Web marketplace that helps partners expand awareness and identify sales opportunities by providing an easy, interactive way for QlikTech customers to evaluate and acquire partner technologies and applications that leverage the QlikView Business Discovery platform. QlikMarket also helps customers easily explore apps and technologies that can expand the value QlikView delivers to their organizations, as well as serves as a connecting point for partners to discover opportunities to work together to provide combined value. In market just over nine months, QlikMarket today features more than 100 offerings, including technology connectors, extensions, and purpose-built apps powered by QlikView.

“IPC Global has experienced an overwhelming response of recognition and awareness as a result of QlikMarket,” said Keily Johnson, Senior Manager of Business Development at IPC Global. “Our Consumer LoanOwl Performance application for loan underwriting continues to pique interest within the Financial Services sector. QlikMarket has provided us with a new channel to showcase our solutions where we have proven value for our customers.”

Further validating the efforts and resources dedicated to support QlikTech's partner program, Peter McQuade, vice president of Alliances and Partner Sales at QlikTech, was named one of UBM Tech Channel's Computer Reseller News (CRN) 2013 Channel Chiefs. This prestigious list of influential leaders in the IT channel market recognizes executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization. Selected by CRN's editorial staff, the 2013 Channel Chiefs list is available online at www.crn.com.

“QlikTech is dedicated to the success of our partner community and we will continue to invest and enhance our program based upon the feedback we receive from our partners,” said McQuade. “I am proud to see that the continued adoption and expansion of QlikView is driving business growth for our partners. Our Qonnections 2013 Global Partner Summit is designed to help our partners further develop their specialized market skills so they can continue to expand sales opportunities for their businesses and enhance the value they deliver to their customers.”

Nearly 1,000 partner attendees from around the world are gathered at Qonnections 2013, the company's annual Global Partner Summit, held this year at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, to share best practices for sales and support of the QlikView Business Discovery platform. Qonnections sponsors include GeoQlik, CIA Partners, Corporate Planning AG, IPC Global, Lavastorm,NPrinting, ParAccel, Teradata, and Trillium Software.
