Frank the American Buffalo Talks the Talk on Behalf of Frontier Communications

08:30 EDT Monday, April 29, 2013

STAMFORD, Conn. (Business Wire) -- Frontier Communications (NASDAQ: FTR) today introduced Francis Abraham Buffalo – Frank – as the center of its new ad campaign. Frank is an American Buffalo who knocked it out of the park during auditions. His sincerity, wit, and straight-talkin' approach made Frank stand out. (His stature helped: He clocks in at 6 feet tall, 8 feet long and 2,000 pounds.)

Frank stars in Frontier's first all-new campaign in several years. “We wanted a spokesperson that could connect with customers and make them smile, and an iconic American Buffalo with a touch of attitude stole the show. We are confident that consumers will like Frank and enjoy his observations about life, technology and Frontier's products and services,” said Cory Jones, Vice President, Marketing for Frontier. “For example, our $19.99 broadband offer is an affordable, no-contract product with simple, clear terms. We wanted someone plain-spoken and truth-telling to talk about it and our other offerings. Frank fits the bill. He has no tolerance for surprises, bull or BS – the last defined in as `nonsense, lies or exaggeration' – and we're delighted he's with Frontier.”

Beginning today Frank appears in broadcast, print, digital and social media and on billboards, truck wraps, and more.
