MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Business Wire) -- Anyone looking for free family fun during the dog days of summer won't have to look far. Disney and Lowe's are working together to offer a calendar full of hands-on, do-it-yourself Build and Grow projects throughout June, July and August.

Beginning June 8, 2013, Lowe's stores nationwide will host movie-themed Build and Grow clinics, featuring projects from animated films, including Disney•Pixar's “Monsters University,” which opens in theatres nationwide on June 21, 2013, and Disney•Pixar's hit 1995 film “Toy Story.”

The special hour-long clinics, recommended for children in grades two through five, will take place on select Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. throughout the summer. Participating children will receive a kid's apron, goggles and a take-home, customizable wooden project.
