HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (Business Wire) -- Emera Incorporated (“Emera”) (TSX:EMA) announced today that it has completed its public offering of 5,000,000 Cumulative Redeemable First Preferred Shares, Series E for aggregate gross proceeds of $125 million. The offering was first announced on May 30, 2013 when Emera entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters in Canada led by RBC Capital Markets, CIBC, Scotiabank and TD Securities Inc. RBC Capital Markets and CIBC acted as joint bookrunners for the offering.
