Bell Aliant and GENBAND Receive Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award

The award, in the Business Service Innovation category, celebrates the work that vendors and operators are doing together to develop innovative projects in order to better serve customers. Bell Aliant and GENBAND were presented the award in recognition of their outstanding innovation and collaboration in Business Unified Communications.

GENBAND enhances Bell Aliant Unified Communications solution by providing key technologies, including GENBAND's recently announced SPiDR™ WebRTC Gateway, that allow customers to compete in a rapidly evolving market. GENBAND SPiDR enables real-time communications, such as video, voice and IM to be launched within a browser with the click of a mouse.
