Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP Announces Class Action Lawsuit Against Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc.

19:32 EDT Wednesday, June 12, 2013

LOS ANGELES (Business Wire) -- Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas on behalf of a class (the “Class”) comprising all purchasers of the securities of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (“Spirit AeroSystems” or the “Company”) (NYSE:SPR) between May 5, 2011 and October 24, 2012, inclusive (the “Class Period”).

A COPY OF THE COMPLAINT IS AVAILABLE FROM THE COURT OR FROM GLANCY BINKOW & GOLDBERG LLP. PLEASE CONTACT US AT (212) 682-5340, TOLL-FREE AT (888) 773-9224, OR AT SHAREHOLDERS@GLANCYLAW.COM TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER OR IF YOU PURCHASED SPIRIT AEROSYSTEMS STOCK PRIOR TO THE CLASS PERIOD. IF YOU INQUIRE BY EMAIL, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER AND NUMBER OF SHARES PURCHASED.

Spirit AeroSystems designs and manufactures aerostructures fuselages, propulsion systems and wing systems for commercial and military aircrafts. The Company is the largest independent supplier of aerostructures to Boeing and one of the largest independent suppliers of aerostructures to Airbus. The Complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period the defendants issued false and misleading statements concerning the Company's business and operations. Specifically defendants misrepresented or failed to disclose that: (1) the Company was having difficulty executing its diversification and growth strategy as it expanded its customer base, manufacturing sites and product design capabilities, while managing multiple development programs with significant design changes and schedule delays; (2) the Company's internal and financial controls were inadequate, specifically its controls over cost overruns on its 787 program, G650 Wing program, BR725 program and the G280 Wing program; and (3) as a result of the above, the Company's financial statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.

If you are a member of the Class described above and meet certain legal requirements, you may move the Court no later than August 2, 2013 to serve as lead plaintiff. To learn more, or if you purchased Spirit AeroSystems stock prior to the Class Period, please contact Michael Goldberg, Esquire, of Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP, 1925 Century Park East, Suite 2100, Los Angeles, California 90067, Toll Free at (888) 773-9224, or contact Gregory Linkh, Esquire, of Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP at 122 E. 42nd Street, Suite 2920, New York, New York 10168, at (212) 682-5340, by e-mail to shareholders@glancylaw.com, or visit our website at http://www.glancylaw.com.
