00:01 EDT Tuesday, July 02, 2013

NEW YORK (Business Wire) -- Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named a leader in Salesforce implementation services by Forrester Research Inc., a leading industry analyst firm.

Accenture was among a select group of ten companies that Forrester invited to participate in its Q2 2013 Forrester Wave report entitled, “The Forrester Wave™: Salesforce.com Implementation Services, Q2 2013.”

The Forrester ranking is based on a “comprehensive set of evaluation criteria” that included conducting user need assessments and vendor and expert interviews, measuring companies against 45 criteria across three categories – current offering, strategy, and market presence. Accenture received the highest score in all three categories.

“…Leaders in our salesforce.com implementation services Forrester Wave set themselves apart with a focus on business transformation and innovation,” said a portion of the report. It goes on to state that, “Accenture is best-suited for transformational, complex, or global projects that change the business in a significant way.”

“As a global strategic alliance partner for nearly a decade, Accenture has helped to deliver some of our most transformational projects,” said Dan Streetman, senior vice president, Global Alliances, salesforce.com. “We are thrilled that Forrester has recognized Accenture as a leader in Salesforce implementation services and we appreciate Accenture's efforts to help our mutual clients achieve the full potential of enterprise cloud computing and connect with their customers in entirely new ways.”
