(TSX:DD) ("DDS" or "the Company") announces today that its Transit business unit, StrataGen Systems Inc., has been awarded several contracts to expand its Mobile Data Terminal ("MDT") footprint as well as to implement a significant system upgrade to ADEPT™ 6.1 for an existing customer.The software upgrade contract is for the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation ("SMART") serving greater Detroit. In addition to implementing the significant new feature sets in this latest release of ADEPT™, the upgrade project will include the deployment of additional modules, enhanced customer contact automation and a complete overhaul of the Mobile Data Terminal footprint to the latest Vector 9000™ MDT.StrataGen has also seen significant demand for its Mobile Data offering in targeted expansion markets, including a 100 MDT unit project with a non-emergency medical transportation customer on the East Coast."The adoption rate of our new ADEPT™ release in the market has exceeded our expectations and we are pleased that so many of our existing clients have chosen to make the transition," states Matt Scheuing, President of StrataGen Systems, Inc.
