(TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has signed two contract amendments with the Commonwealth of Australia.  The first extends MDA's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle surveillance service for the Australian Defence Force in Kandahar Airfield an additional two years. The second provides for a three month assessment activity that will provide critical information in support of Australia's efforts in Afghanistan.
