The service will roll out first in Halifax, Sydney, St. John's, Saint John, Moncton, Fredericton and Charlottetown. Residents in those cities can now book appointments to receive the latest technology to monitor, protect and control their homes.  The company will soon expand availability to other communities across Atlantic Canada.

NextGen Home Security is an affordable Internet-based service designed for consumers' digital lifestyles. Innovative features allow homeowners to protect and control their homes from anywhere. Customers can receive texts when someone enters the home and then view a video of the person walking through the door. They can also remotely arm and disarm the system, lock and unlock doors and check on their home, children or family pet from a smartphone, tablet or PC.

Bell Aliant bundle customers can purchase this package for $44.95/month. The Plus Package also allows customers to customize their system with additional monitoring and automation devices such as door locks and thermostats.
