WINNIPEG, July 16, 2013 /CNW/ -Today the Irish Supreme Court denied the appeal of an application for an injunction brought by certain minority shareholders of permanent tsb Group Holdings plc (formerly Irish Life & Permanent Group Holdings plc) regarding the sale by the Minister for Finance (Ireland) of the Irish Life Group to Canada Life Limited.
Great-West Lifeco Inc. intends to complete the purchase of Irish Life expeditiously.
