Nordstrom To Open In Jacksonville, Fla.09:00 EDT Tuesday, September 04, 2012SEATTLE, Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) today announced plans to open a Nordstrom full-line store at St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Fla. The 124,000 square-foot store will be two levels and is expected to open in fall 2014. St. Johns Town Center was co-developed and is co-owned by Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) and Ben Carter Properties.The company believes opening a Jacksonville store at the centrally-located St. Johns Town Center will put it in an ideal position to serve customers throughout the Northeast Florida region.
