Annual award program recognizes travel and hospitality companies' commitments to environmental and social responsibility worldwide

LAS VEGAS, July 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Condé Nast Traveler, one of the world's most trusted travel magazines, has named MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) a finalist for the 2013 World Savers Awards. The international awards contest annually recognizes travel and hospitality companies that demonstrate strong leadership and exceptional achievements in the area of corporate social responsibility.

Finalists were selected by an expert panel that judged submissions according to five areas: education, environmental and cultural preservation, health, poverty relief, and wildlife conservation. Winners will be announced by Condé Nast Traveler in its September issue.
