Westfield Financial, Inc. Announces 5% Stock Repurchase Program

WESTFIELD, Mass. (Business Wire) -- Westfield Financial, Inc. (the “Company”) (NasdaqGS:WFD), the holding company for Westfield Bank, announced that its Board of Directors authorized a stock repurchase program under which the Company may repurchase up to 1,037,000 shares, or 5% of its outstanding common stock. The Company completed its previous stock repurchase program of 1,092,000 shares of its common stock on June 11, 2013.
