Music to Our Ears! Frontier Airlines Expands to Memphis March 7, 2014

DENVER (Business Wire) -- Frontier Airlines today announced new nonstop service between its Denver, Colo. (DEN), hub and Memphis, Tenn. (MEM) with four weekly nonstop flights beginning March 7, 2014. To celebrate the return of Frontier service to Memphis, Frontier is offering fares as low as $69* each way available at through Oct. 12, 2013.

“We are excited to offer nonstop service to the birthplace of Rock ‘n' Roll,” said Greg Aretakis, Frontier's vice president, network and revenue management. “We're confident that travelers will love our friendly, low fare service to Memphis, and we look forward to welcoming Memphis-area travelers as they fly to our home state of Colorado, or connect onward to popular destinations in the west.”

Frontier's new Memphis service is conveniently timed to connect in Denver to popular destinations across the West, including San Francisco, Seattle/Tacoma, Phoenix, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Portland.

This new service will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft, which offer more customer amenities, including five rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional six inches of legroom, and the airline's SELECT seating product. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, October 12, 2013. Fares are one way for domestic travel March 11 through May 20, 2014, for flights operating Tuesday and Thursday. Travel valid: March 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 2014; April 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 2014; and May 6, 13, and 20, 2014. Roundtrip purchase not required. Fares are valid from origin to destination only. Seats are limited at these fares and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable. Depending on the fare type purchased, nonrefundable tickets may be transferred for a fee of up to $50, or reissued for alternate flights for a fee of up to $75, as well as a possible fare increase. The name change fee and itinerary change fee are not exclusive of each other. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets. Flight segment(s) must be cancelled prior to scheduled departure time or the ticket(s) and all monies will be forfeited.

Fares reflect purchase at Tickets purchased at or by calling Frontier's reservations centers must be paid for at the time the reservation is made, but may be cancelled for a full refund without penalty up to 24 hours after the time of purchase. Depending on the fare type purchased, up to a $25 fee may be charged each way for the first piece and up to a $30 fee each way for the second piece of checked baggage.
