Frontier Airlines Adds New Nonstop Route Between Wilmington/Philadelphia and Atlanta, Ga. and Detroit, Mich.

DENVER (Business Wire) -- Frontier Airlines today announced it will add nonstop service from Wilmington- New Castle Airport in Wilmington, Del. (ILG) to Atlanta, Ga. (ATL) and Detroit, Mich. (DTW) starting April 29, 2014. To celebrate this new service, fares as low as $49*to Atlanta and $39* to Detroit are available only at until Nov. 16.

The addition of these two new cities brings the total number of routes served from the Wilmington/Philadelphia area to seven: Atlanta; Chicago-Midway; Denver; Detroit; Fort Myers; Orlando; and Tampa.

At Wilmington-New Castle Airport, Frontier customers can avoid the hassles and lines of airports like Baltimore and Philadelphia. The airport offers affordable parking, transit service on Dart Routes 22 and 25 to downtown Wilmington and the Amtrak/SEPTA station, plus convenient access to Avis and Budget rental cars. The airport is just 38 miles from downtown Philadelphia, and 45 miles from the Delaware State Capitol in Dover, making the airport a convenient gateway to the entire region.

Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, November 16, 2013. Fares are one way for domestic travel beginning April 29, 2014 Roundtrip purchase not required. Fares are valid from origin to destination only. Seats are limited at these fares and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable. Depending on the fare type purchased, nonrefundable tickets may be transferred for a fee of up to $50, or reissued for alternate flights for a fee of up to $75, as well as a possible fare increase. The name change fee and itinerary change fee are not exclusive of each other. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets. Flight segment(s) must be cancelled prior to scheduled departure time or the ticket(s) and all monies will be forfeited.

Fares reflect purchase at Tickets purchased at or by calling Frontier's reservations centers must be paid for at the time the reservation is made, but may be cancelled for a full refund without penalty up to 24 hours after the time of purchase. Depending on the fare type purchased, up to a $25 fee may be charged each way for the first piece and up to a $30 fee each way for the second piece of checked baggage. Fares shown include all transportation fees, surcharges and taxes, and are subject to change without notice.
