For more details, check out the following write-up by Wendy S. Loughlin:
“Client-driven” may be the best way to describe Morel. As head of Wunderman since 2001, he believes the best path toward success is taking chances—and being prepared for the outcome either way. Known for his decisiveness, he pushes boundaries to find innovative solutions, which in turn leads to new possibilities for clients.
Morel has transformed Wunderman into the largest digital marketing network in the world, with over 20 companies covering every aspect of relationship marketing, and some of the world's best-known brands as clients.
Morel is committed to the fundamental marketing principles and spirit of innovation that have always marked Wunderman. His strategy for growth led to powerful global account relationships with IBM, Microsoft and Nokia. The latter of which, along with Ford, are two of the agency's largest accounts, demanding scalable, high-impact, cost-effective campaigns in some 50 countries.
Morel also launched an aggressive strategy to expand the agency's influence in digital direct marketing, acquiring 18 best-in-class interactive and analytics firms around the world since 2005, including AGENDA, aqua, Blast Radius, Designkitchen and These Days. In 2010, he enhanced the agency's foothold in the analytics area by expanding KBM Group across Europe and adding I-Behavior and MDI to its ranks. Digital programs now account for 80 percent of Wunderman's revenues.
