GuestLogix Announces 2013 POSie Award Winners at the GuestLogix User Group Conference

(TSX:GXI), the leading global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced the recipients of the 2013 POSie Awards at the fifth annual GuestLogix User Group Conference held in London, UK. The POSie Awards honour the year's best in onboard retail innovation and excellence and are presented to customers who have exceptional onboard retail programs and merchandising strategies, involving the GuestLogix Solution. This year's awards ceremony was held in Paternoster Square, next to St. Paul's Cathedral, at the conference's offsite Sights & Splendours Gala.

This year's POSie categories, recipients and nominees are as follows:

Highest Revenue per Passenger for a Buy on Board Program
This award measures an airline's onboard sales performance on a per passenger basis.
Winner: Alaska Airlines
Nominees: Aer Lingus, flydubai, Thomson Airways, WestJet Airlines
Most Innovative Use of the GuestLogix Solution
This award recognizes companies that have used the GuestLogix solution in innovative ways either on or off board.
Winners (tie): Inflight Service Europe & US Airways
Nominees: Alaska Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Momentum Services/Eurostar
Best Onboard Merchandising Strategy
This award recognizes organizations that have created new onboard retail initiatives that have made a significant impact to their business.
Winner: United Airlines
Nominees: Cathay Pacific/Dragonair/Inflight Sales Group, Rocky Mountaineer, Southwest Airlines, US Airways
