Tim Hortons announces appointment of Steve Wuthmann as Executive Vice-President, Human Resources

OAKVILLE, ON, Aug. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Tim Hortons Inc. (TSX: THI, NYSE: THI) today announced the appointment of Steve Wuthmann as Executive Vice-President, Human Resources, and as a member of the executive group, effective September 30th, 2013.

Wuthmann was most recently Executive Vice-President, Supply Chain, for Parmalat Canada and prior to that, Senior Vice-President, Human Resources.  He brings more than two decades of human resources and operations experience to Tim Hortons, including with Purolator Courier, Labatt Breweries of Canada and Canada Packers.

"Steve is an accomplished executive with substantial human resources and operational experience. We are looking forward to benefiting from his strategic insights and strong leadership and we are pleased we will be able to leverage his depth of knowledge and experience for this important role," said Marc Caira, President and CEO, Tim Hortons.

Wuthmann will be responsible for directing all human resource functions of the organization, including driving organizational engagement, capability, alignment and performance.
