TORONTO, May 22, 2014 /CNW/ - The tribe has spoken! Global has another stellar night with the season finale of Survivor: Cagayan winning the night nationally in 2+ and A18-49. In the dramatic conclusion, 1.9 million (2+) and more than 865,000 (A18-49) viewers tuned into the two-hour finale that saw savvy competitor Tony Vlachos crowned the winner. Survivor: Cagayan was also the #1 program of the night across multiple demos (F18-49, M18-49, A25-54, F25-54, M25-54). Following the thrilling finale, the hour-long reunion special pulled in more than 1.5 million viewers (2+).

DATA HIGHLIGHTS

  • Survivor: Cagayan   finale sees an increase of12% (2+) and 12% (A18-49) over last season*
  • Survivor: Cagayan won the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. time period, almost doubling CTV's time period average, and six times that of City's time period average (2+)
  • Survivor: Cagayan Reunion won the 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period, besting CTV by more than three times their time period average, and City by more than five times their time period average (A18-49)
