SHANGHAI, Aug. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE: JKS), a leading global solar PV power product manufacturer, today announced that it has supplied 2.3 MW of solar modules for a rooftop system constructed by Sentinel Solar. The project is the largest roof-top project in Canada and was commissioned under Ontario's Feed-in Tariff plan.

The system was installed on a roof-top covering approximately 400,000m2. It comprises of 9,294 JinkoSolar high-efficiency modules and customized racking solution designed and manufactured by Sentinel Solar. The system is expected to produce 2,540,000 kWh annually, enough to power approximately 150 homes. The solar array is expected to offset approximately 11,200 tons of CO2 annually and assist Ontario in achieving its goal to phase out coal power by 2014.

"With over 20 years of experience in distribution, product manufacturing, project development and management, we are pleased to add another milestone working with JinkoSolar on this ground-breaking project," said Mr. Adam Webb, President of Sentinel Solar. "We strongly believe that solar has the potential of becoming a cost-effective energy solution and hope that this innovative solar installation will further encourage the adoption of solar in Ontario and throughout Canada."

"By combining JinkoSolar's high efficiency solar panels and Sentinel Solar's innovative project development plans, we were able ensure that Vine Fresh Produce's greenhouse receives the maximum power output from their solar installation,'' said Mr. Cheng Kangping, CEO of JinkoSolar. ''The Province of Ontario is not only at the forefront of solar development, but is also well positioned to lead Canada in the adoption of solar power. "
