TV Viewers Rate AT&T U-verse TV Highest in Customer Satisfaction in J.D. Power Study

DALLAS, Sept. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers say AT&T* U-verse® TV outperforms all TV providers in customer satisfaction in the North Central region, according to the J.D. Power 2013 Residential Television Service Provider Satisfaction StudySM released today.

AT&T U-verse ranked highest in overall satisfaction in a study that evaluates performance and reliability, customer service, cost of service, billing, programming and communication.

AT&T announced several enhancements to its service over the past year, including:

  • U-verse High Speed Internet Power, which offers speeds up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream.
  • The addition of several sports channels and content across screens ? enabling viewing at home or on the go.
  • A new, media-rich U-verse On Demand storefront.
  • U-verse Easy Remote, Facebook on TV, an upgraded U-verse App for smartphones and tablet and several other interactive TV apps.

The rankings are the latest honor for AT&T U-verse. U-verse TV was named Frost & Sullivan's 2013 Video Company of the Year for excellence in customer value, innovation and growth. AT&T U-verse recently received the Women's Choice Award for the "Most Recommended Internet Provider" category.
