Manulife Asset Management Hires Richard Bonzagni as Managing Director on Global Consultant Relations Team

BOSTON, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Manulife Asset Management today announced that Richard J. Bonzagni has joined the global consultant relations team, effective September 23rd. A Managing Director based in Boston, Mr. Bonzagni reports to Brian E. Torrisi, Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Consultant Relations.

"Rich brings a record of demonstrated success and experience to our consultant relations team.  We continue to have significant demand for our investment strategies through institutional consultants, and we are confident he will be a strong contributor to this effort," said Mr. Torrisi.

Mr. Bonzagni spent the last 13 years with Cadence Capital Management, a Boston-based boutique investment manager. Most recently he was a Principal with consultant relations, sales and client service responsibilities. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and holds Series 6 and 63 licenses.
