Ogilvy PR West Adds Three New Emerging Technology Clients

09:00 EST Monday, December 09, 2013

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations (Ogilvy PR), an integrated, global communications firm, announced today that it has added three clients to its technology practice roster: Arrayent, CliQr and Cima NanoTech.

"The strength and diversity of our flagship West Coast Technology Practice is evident by our client partners as well as the number of industries we serve," said Nathan Friedman, Regional Managing Director of Ogilvy PR West. "Each of these brands competes in highly specialized and rapidly growing markets including cloud computing, 'Internet of Things,' and smart materials, and underscores the broad capabilities we can deliver to a wide range of clients."

Ogilvy PR's Technology practice will provide strategic planning, content development and influencer relations support for CliQr Technologies. CliQr, which began as a client within Ogilvy's Espresso service offering for emerging brands, is a leading provider of cloud-application management solutions.

"Ogilvy PR's ability to quickly jump in and bring a fresh approach to our communication challenges has been a great boost to our efforts," said David Cope, executive vice president of corporate development and chief marketing officer, CliQr.  "We're experiencing rapid growth and look forward to increasing our market and mindshare with Ogilvy by our side."

Arrayent, founded in 2007, is a software platform that lets manufacturers and retailers connect their products to the Internet with unprecedented simplicity and low-cost. Arrayent is benefitting from the combination of Ogilvy's technology practice and reputation management expertise, which are helping shape the Arrayent narrative and share it with key influencers.

"Ogilvy has been able to bring a broad variety of skills and capabilities to inform, shape and execute our communications program," said Shane Dyer, founder and CEO, Arrayent. "Differentiating our brand in a crowded space like the 'Internet of Things' takes creativity and the relationships to help articulate and share a unique story that breaks through.  We're excited about our work with Ogilvy and how the team can help us deliver on our business goals."

Cima NanoTech is a smart materials company specializing in the development of next-generation transparent conductors. Cima NanoTech began as an Ogilvy client out of the Singapore office and has expanded its work in the U.S. with a focus on accelerating the brand's visibility among key industry, technology and mainstream media.

"Our work with the Ogilvy team both domestically and internationally has been a great boost to our efforts," said Kelly Ingham, vice president of marketing and business development, Cima NanoTech. "The ability to bridge work across geography, to tap into a broad base of services and skill sets as well as the Ogilvy team's close partnership with our leadership has been a very strong asset to us as we accelerate our business and communications efforts."
