Ogilvy PR to continue supporting Mazatlan with North American media relations campaign

NEW YORK, March 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Ogilvy Public Relations (Ogilvy PR) announced that the agency will continue to serve as Mazatlan's public relations agency of record following a competitive review. Ogilvy PR will expand on its previous work with the destination to drive tourism growth and foreign investment in the region and shape its reputation in the media.

Ogilvy PR has worked with the Mazatlan for the past two years as well as the Government of Mexico and Mexico Tourism Board to completely reset the nation's media dialogue across the globe, and in doing so, reclaim Mexico's international voice so often misrepresented in the media. The agency completed its work with the Government of Mexico in 2012 in conjunction with the inauguration of a new government.
