SAN FRANCISCO, July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the world's #1 CRM platform, announced today that Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff will deliver the keynote at the Salesforce1 World Tour Munich on July 3. Benioff will share the vision for Salesforce1, the cloud, social, mobile and connected customer platform built to transform how companies sell, service, market and engage for the Internet of Customers. Joining Benioff onstage will be special guests from Deutsche Telekom, Nestle Foundation, Roche Diagnostics and Software AG. In addition, salesforce.com is partnering with the Munich Foodbank to hold a food drive at the event to help feed the hungry. Integrated Philanthropy at Salesforce1 World Tour
Salesforce.com has a long history of giving time, technology and financial resources to nonprofits through its 1/1/1 model of integrated corporate philanthropy. To date, the Salesforce.com Foundation has given more than 624,000 hours of volunteer time, more than $65 million in grants and product to more than 22,000 nonprofits to help improve communities throughout the world.
In keeping with this model, salesforce.com and the Munich Foodbank will be holding a food drive at the Salesforce1 World Tour Munich to help feed the citizens of Munich who live below the poverty line. The Salesforce.com Foundation will be matching cash donations.
