In two days, The Globe and Mail unveils a dramatic redesign. With it comes a new emphasis on personal finance.
As editor of the Personal Finance hub, I'm excited by the addition of new features to the site.
You may have already noticed some of the changes. At GlobeInvestor.com, we've added new investing tools, including personal finance calculators that can help you determine your net worth, cash flow and savings growth.
We've also added new writers. Preet Banerjee, a senior vice-president at Pro-Financial Asset Management and the blogger behind WhereDoesAllMyMoneyGo.com, has started contributing a twice-weekly column to the site.
Noreen Rasbach, a Globe and Mail editor who regularly writes for Report on Business and other sections, will join me in beginning to contribute to the Home Cents blog. Our regular blogger, Chaya Cooperberg, is due to give birth at any moment, but plans to keep blogging throughout her maternity leave.
Personal finance columnist Rob Carrick has expanded his popular Personal Finance Reader newsletter into a daily blog.
And you can expect to see more money content in Tuesday print editions of the Globe's Life section, with regular articles by the personal finance team, a weekly money poll and more.
I hope you'll enjoy the new content and stick with us as we work out the inevitable glitches that come with technological change. As always, you can send your questions and comments to me at email@example.com.
