MacLeod: Red Sox 8, Blue Jays 0 Add to ...

And the (losing) beat goes on for the Toronto Blue Jays who can't even count on ace Roy Halladay for a big lift these days. For the second consecutive outing Halladay was shelled, this time to the tune of 11 hits that accounted for all eight Boston runs over five innings.

IMPRESSED: By the Jays' decision to hang the jersey belonging to B.J. Ryan, the injured closer, in the dugout for the game. How touching.

UNIMPRESSED: With the Blue Jays in general, who matched the fourth longest drought in club history with their ninth consecutive loss.

WHAT THE MANAGER SAID: "Truthfully, at this point Doc's the least of my worries," said Toronto's John Gibbons on the recent struggles of Halladay.
