British couple jailed in insurance-scam case
A British judge sentenced both a husband and wife to more than six years in jail yesterday for faking the man's drowning death in a $500,000 (U.S.) insurance scam. Anne Darwin, 56, was jailed for 61/2 years after a jury found her guilty earlier yesterday of six counts of fraud and nine counts of money laundering.
