"It happened to be Easter Sunday and I was coming back from Houston where I had been with the company who were appearing in a prestigious dance festival. Our flight was delayed and we missed our connection and we spent the entire day in the Dallas airport waiting for the next connection. ...
"The only good part was that I was with seven of my colleagues and we had a meal together in the airport. We decided, 'Let's just try to enjoy ourselves.' Some people had steaks. I had a steak salad. It seemed to be the big thing on the menu - after all, we were in Texas. We shared some wine. As I said, we were making the best of it.
"I was supposed to get home at 5:30 p.m. ... and my husband had planned a nice dinner for us. I got home at midnight. It was very disappointing, but it's the way our lives go sometimes."
