Okay, it's true. We kind of think that Sir James Dyson —that inventor guy on the Dyson vacuum cleaner commercials — is kinda hot. Must be his British accent, his engineering know-how and the way he "just thinks things should work properly." But this latest addition to the family of super powerful Dyson vacuums really is sheer genius.
First, it comes in bright gold and it's called the Animal. Second, it understands that women who pine for British engineers they've seen on television just might have a cat or two around the house. (Okay, and maybe a dog as well. What? It's lonely out there!) The Animal is specifically designed to remove pet hair from upholstery.
It has twice the power of other handhelds, featuring the brand's famed root cyclone technology, which separates dirt from air so there is constant suction, and it comes with interchangeable attachments. $229.99 at Sears, The Bay, Home Outfitters, Future Shop and at www.dyson.com.
