The Buy: Tiffany ski-charm necklace

Globe and Mail Update

Okay, so maybe some of us don't actually ski or do all those wintery things that involve the mysterious outdoors.

Maybe we just like the thought of cozy ski lodges, frothy hot chocolate and snowy "mini-breaks" but prefer our legs just the way they are — unbroken.

But that doesn't mean you can't fake it with the right accessories.

First came Chanel's ski-chic penguin sweaters and Pucci's full ski suits, and now Tiffany is slaloming into the fray with this oh-so-quaint ski-charm necklace.

Featuring a tiny skier outfitted in diamonds, sapphire pants, an amethyst jacket, an emerald cap, and platinum skis and poles, this little piece of sportif bling would twinkle perfectly in any gift box.

And after spending $1,700 on a necklace, it's not like you're going to be able to afford a set of skis anyhow. Problem solved!

At Tiffany & Co., see www.tiffany.ca for store locations.
